What is Your Patronus?
A few friends were talking about love for lost pets a few days ago. I recalled Zeus, my beloved canary, who sang so beautifully the memory still brings tears to my eyes. It occurred to me that Zeus would be my patronus.

I said otter yesterday before I knew it was already taken. I'll snag grackle. They're the perfect mix of cocksure, scrappy, and desperate.
Once you read Philip Pullman's "The Golden Compass" you'll have to ask what your daemon is, which may well be the same thing. Daemon or patronus I like to think mine would be a wild horse.

Mine would have to be a collie, smooth coat. Smart, sure, beautiful and with a purpose, like my old pal, Keni.
I think mine would be a wolf. Independent and fierce.
